I retired from teaching Band in the public schools after a 37 year career. I am thankful that I got out in the summer before Covid came along. That really was difficult for students and teachers alike. I still enjoy teaching some private lessons on saxophone to some area kiddos, and have just started to do some traveling which I enjoy very much. I am glad that I still enjoy reasonably good health and since I never went many places while I was still employed, I have some catching up to do.

The best piece of advice I would share is we all know from firsthand experience, none of us has time that is guaranteed. We always think we have more of it! Spend the rest of your life enjoying whatever makes you happy.

Yes I planned to attend the 50th reunion, absolutely nothing will stop me.
